Visit the exhibition

‘Van Eyck. An optical revolution’ will run from 1 February up to and including 30 April 2020. The exhibition will be open 7 days a week, from 9h30 until 19h and at least once a week until 23h. The multilingual audio guide for adults or children is included in your ticket.

To give everyone the opportunity to get as close as possible to the great master, we will be working with time slots. You’ll buy a ticket to enter the exhibition at a fixed time. How long you spend gazing in wonder at the art is, of course, up to you.

Check the tickets page for details or go directly to the online shop to book your ticket. You can also buy your tickets at the museum or at the city shop.

Tours and nocturnes

You can book a museum guide several times a day, for a 1,5h tour through the exhibition.  Only official MSK guides are allowed, so don’t wait too long to book!

On Tuesday and Thursday mornings, we are reserving the exhibition for school groups. All accredited educational institutions can then visit the exhibition with or without a guide. Group supervisors will be granted free admission.

Finally, you can experience an unforgettable and exclusive evening in the museum with the Van Eyck Nocturnes. You will have four hours to experience the exhibition in a more intimate environment, whilst also enjoying a drink or buffet dinner in the iconic museum spaces.

The exhibition is fully accessible to all: individual visitors, groups, schools, families or visitors with a disability. The multilingual audio guide is included in the price and available in adult and children’s versions.
